Boig Per Tu 2020

Boig per Tu is a great wine ambassador for the Montsant: a Mediterranean Garnacha, fresh yet warm too, with aromas of undergrowth such as rosemary and thyme, very approachable right from the start, and with a notable contribution from the Cariñena (20%) which enhances its minerality. It's also yet another example of the elegance and pleasantness that we've grown accustomed to from this winery: refinement and good taste are 'trademark' Joan Ignasi Domènech.
Proving an ambassador for both region and maker, this is an intense and juicy wine, which benefits nonetheless from half an hour's aeration. Let it breathe and you'll enjoy a fruity wine (blueberries and redcurrants), enriched with notes of freshly-toasted bread, a slightly earthy undertone and a suggestion of sweetness. On the palate, it reveals good structure and depth, and above all, excellent balance. A very polished and well-defined composition, and with good acidity enabling it to be enjoyed now or in a few years, and even over two days; it isn't easily affected by oxidation.
