Les Crestes 2022

Les Crestes is Mas Doix's most immediate red wine, an expressive and tasty wine that despite its youth does not give up the genuine character of Priorat. It is made from young vines (20 years) mostly of Grenache, grown on slate slopes at about 400 meters altitude. The yields are around one kilo per strain despite the young age of the vineyard, such is the crudeness of the Prioratian terroir. 8 months in second-year French oak barrels give life to about 50,000 bottles of a wine of violet reflections and aroma of red fruit and dried herbs, mouth full of tasty fruit and great balance.
