Massolino Langhe Nebbiolo 2021

It is the younger brother of Barolo, the king of wines. Nebbiolo is a base produced by most of the Langhe companies that propose it as an excellent daily wine, elegant and versatile, suitable both for daily drinking and for accompanying more complex recipes, to be appreciated relatively young as to preserve to evaluate its fascinating evolution. The product of the Massolino company, producers of wines of excellent workmanship from the end of the nineteenth century, is made from grapes from the vineyards located in Serralunga d 'Alba at an altitude between 320 and 360 m asl. The vines are rooted in lands that are mostly calcareous, although the composition varies substantially from one plot to another. At the sight of the classic garnet color, but intrinsically elegant, of Nebbiolo, while on the nose the delicate notes of violet and raspberry typical of the variety, together with rose petals, leather and balsamic cues dance to read just waiting to be cultured and appreciated. Clean and fine perfumes. On tasting the tannic grip does not disappoint, both in presence and fineness, while in closing we find the freshness and crunchiness of raspberry.
