Barni Bramaterra is a red with exceptional body and structure. It has a ruby red color tending towards garnet in the glass. The scents on the nose are fine, of ripe red fruit, almost macerated, with notes of spices that with aging evolve towards other tertiary, animal and tobacco. The taste is austere, full-bodied, savory and persistent, like the great Nebbioli from northern Piedmont, but with a pleasant drink, thanks to the contribution of the other grape varieties mentioned. The classic combination is with cold cuts, pappardelle with hare ragù, roasted red meats and the traditional panissa Vercellese, a dish based on rice with pork rinds and beans.
