In 1910, the co-founder of the CVNE winery Eusebio Real de Asúa designed a wine label with three stars, one for each of his children: Sofía (or Bela to the family), Áurea and Ramón. Following their recent move into winemaking in Ribera del Duero, CVNE decided to recover this image and the name of Bela to label their first wines in the region.
