Castello Monaci Piluna is a vigorous and evocative red. It has a dark purple red color. The olfactory bouquet is broad, fruity, with notes of ripe red fruit and black cherry and marasca cherry jam; followed by hints of pepper and vanilla with flavors of Mediterranean scrub. The taste is soft and concentrated, with a finish that recalls small berry jam. Warm, intense and engaging, it is perfect for a cheerful evening with friends, to accompany meat-based first courses, grilled meat, roasts and aged cheeses.
