Le Méal presents itself with a very deep garnet red color with violet reflections in its youth. The nose is made of ripe fruit with a subtle hint of smoke. In the mouth it reveals powerful, velvety tannins on blackberry jam. Depending on the vintage, the wine can be stored for 30 to 60 years, or even 50 to 75 years.
