Château Latour 2014 is a red wine from the prestigious Pauillac region of Bordeaux, France. This Grand Vin is composed of a blend of 89.9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9.2% Merlot, 0.6% Cabernet Franc and 0.3% Petit Verdot. The 2014 harvest took place from 18 September for the Merlot vines, ending between 6 and 15 October with the harvest of the Cabernet Sauvignon. The alcohol content is 12.89%. The nose shows remarkable purity with a combination of black and red fruits, accompanied by subtle notes of black olive and graphite. On the palate, it exhibits a fine tannin structure and well-balanced acidity, with a silky texture and a lingering finish that reflects its Premier Grand Cru Classé status. This wine has been rated 97 points by Wine Enthusiast, highlighting its prominent tannins and pure, fresh character. It is recommended for drinking from 2027 onwards. Château Latour 2014 was released in March 2022, positioning it as one of the youngest Grand Vin wines available.
