Emilio Moro produces three wines in the Bierzo and El Zarzal is the one which best reflects the reasons why this Ribera family became enamoured with the Godello variety: its freshness, its aromatic potential and its ageing capability. It’s a white which is mature yet at the same time fresh, very varietal, with primary (grape pulp) and floral aromas, and a slightly saline and spicy, mineral finish. A white that finds its place between the simplicity of Polvorete and the seriousness of La Revelía. Simple but complete; serious but accessible.
The label is the work of the artist Domingo Zapata, who has reflected the wine’s aromatic personality and fresh character, with shades of green in the background.
