Ferrer Bobet 2020

Ferrer Bobet is the fruit of the youngest vineyards of the winery, from vines that were planted in 2004, 2005 and 2006, when the project first started. The plants are still quite young but have enough maturity and balance to convey that mineral essence so typical of the Priorat and revered by the two partners, passionate about their work, Sergi Ferrer-Salat and Raül Bobet, and by the whole team. An important point: 48% Cariñena, and that's Porrera Cariñena, characterised by its own special and very desirable freshness. The grapes have been very thoroughly selected, the wine has been left to ferment in 15 and 30 hl tanks made of wood, stainless steel and concrete, and aged in French oak barrels, 60% new, for 12 months. A meticulous process, carried out with the precision and rigour we've grown accustomed to from this winery. The end result is excellent and well worth trying.
