The Chianti Castiglioni produced by Frescobaldi reflects the characteristics of the territory it represents and presents itself as a soft, pleasantly fruity wine with a strong and well-defined character. In the glass it shows a beautiful ruby red color with purple hues. Its bouquet is pleasantly fruity, with notes reminiscent of strawberry, morello cherry, raspberry and fig; the fruit is accompanied by floral and Mediterranean scents. The delicate spicy note is also pleasant, with elegant hints of pepper and clove. The sip is characterized by a beautiful vivacity. The finish is long, clear and delicate. Excellent in combination with savory dishes such as pappardelle with meat sauce, roast chicken, strips of beef with vegetables and some semi-aged cheese.
