Try this Hebo, a wine that’s concentrated in profile yet very accessible and extremely versatile when matching with food. We should raise our glasses to Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, princess of Piombino from 1805, the lady responsible for introducing international grape varieties to this region, the Valley of Cornia; here, the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot haven’t been the result of a passing trend, but can look back over a long history. A young wine, yet there’s no doubting it has a past.
The name Hebo derives from an ancient Etruscan settlement and evokes the connection between the Petra winery and this magical terroir in Tuscany.
