The Vintage is the choice of an exceptional year of which only a selection of the Grands Crus of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir will enter into the composition of a future iteration of the Grand Siècle. A rare and exceptional wine which expresses the character of a harvest year in the style of Laurent-Perrier. The year 2008 is characterized by a cold winter without being freezing and a gloomy and rainy spring. The harvest begins in mid-September in dry and cool weather, which offers grapes in perfect sanitary condition, with very fine Chardonnays and Pinots Noirs. These high quality grapes reveal a magnificent aromatic richness which presaged an exceptional vintage.
