Seductive, generous and vibrant, the Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial is the Épernay house’s iconic Champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies the unique Moët style, distinguishable due to its splendid fruit, seductive palate and elegant maturity. Not surprisingly, Napoleon Bonaparte himself was captivated by this exemplary Champagne. Napoleon made the Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial widely known throughout Europe and the winery decided to call it Imperial in his honour. Ever since then, the most famous of sparkling wines has successfully kept its essence unchanged, maintaining a balance and regularity that very few can match. This means that whenever you uncork a bottle of Impérial you always find the same quality and a recognisable style, the result of a time-honoured expertise which has been passed on from one chef de cave to another until reaching Benoît Gouez, the current guardian of the Moët & Chandon Impérial’s magical formula.
