Muchada-Léclapart Univers + 2022

Univers is the entrance to the Muchada-Léclapart ‘Universe’, fresh, saline and elegant; pure Palomino grape. Its grapes come from the lower area of its best vineyard, La Platera, with clay-limestone soils of albariza and lustrillos. Its salinity and purity stand out, due to the fermentation in the old champenoise tanks of solid steel. The young vines emphasise the salinity and the plot shows subtle hydrocarbons and gunpowder, aromas associated with the great albariza plots. Fermented and vinified in steel tanks with ceramic paint on the inside for 9-10 months. Spontaneous fermentation; no rectification of any kind. Minimal initial sulphiting. Work on lees. Finally, it is bottled without filtering or cold stabilisation, to maintain all its nuances and aromas.NOTE: All the bottles have sediment, so it is advisable to keep the bottle upright for two weeks before tasting it, to open it without shaking it and to decant it if possible.
