Planeta Eruzione 1614 Nerello Mascalese is a powerful Etna red with a bright and transparent ruby color. The nose reveals a bouquet of red fruit in alcohol, rose, oriental spices and beeswax. On the palate it returns the typical tannicity of Nerello Mascalese, just smoothed by aging in wood. Initially shy, it is a wine of unsuspected strength and determination. On the table it is a valid ally of dishes such as timbale of capellini with cheeses; spaghetti with wild boar sauce; pork with quince and wild mustard; lampuga glazed with grilled porcini mushrooms and citrus veal stock with verdello.
