This is a Priorat that well deserves our admiration, superb and elegant, with great cellaring potential if you can resist the temptation to try it - all the more so knowing that previous vintages in 2004 and 2005 obtained 97 and 98 points respectively from Robert Parker.
Planots de Celler Cal Pla is a wine emanating from old vineyards, with a fruity, complex nose that Joan Sangenís has made from an equal measure of Garnacha and Cariñena vines aged over a hundred years old and with yields of about half a kilo.A wine to keep in the cellar for some time.
Ideal to serve with game dishes, roast red meats, and cheeses.
Aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels.
