Terlano Chardonnay 2023

Longevity, complexity and character are the main qualities that distinguish Terlano wines. This winery that needs no introduction operates, even in the considerable extension of the vineyard, on soils with a very high mineral content, which produce positive stabilising effects and imbibe the wines with an impressive freshness and pedigree throughout the course of the their life. Cantina Terlano has a long tradition in creating durable wines, dating back to 1900. This tradition is seen today in the whole range: including the most ready-to-drink wines, with their excellent affordability, are startling in their emotional effect at a distance of years from the harvest. This Chardonnay is no exception. A pleasant and captivating white of a bright straw yellow colour with green reflections, whose colour will tend towards golden as it ages. The bouquet has intense aromas of exotic fruit, banana, quince, passion fruit, melon, followed by herbal notes of lemon balm. It conquer the palate with its perfect balance between fruity aromas of pear and mango and particularly sapid mineral notes. Good softness and beautiful persistence at the end, thanks largely to the months of aging on yeasts, confirm the picture of a spontaneous white but which is subtle, and can be aged due to its excellent structure.
