Vermú Rojo Nordesía (1.0 L)

If all the Albariño grape's essence and character is conveyed to us in the white Nordesía version, with the red we're transported away to those breath-taking Ribeira Sacra valleys, steeped in mystery and charm. This is where the Mencia grapes start life and are nurtured, which serve as the base for manufacturing this original vermouth, and all the botanicals used in the maceration are picked on these wooded slopes. Galicia's long tradition in the production of distilled spirits is combined here with the zeal and creativity of the team at Galician Original Drinks, the qualities of the Mencia variety, and the flora found growing in the Galician countryside. The result is a high quality vermouth, made from a mixture of wine and an infusion of plants with distilled wine spirit, that undergoes ageing for 4 months in used French oak barrels. A luscious, fresh and elegant vermouth, with very pure fruit aromas on the nose, featuring cherry, nectarine and apple, complemented by spicy wafts which make it pervasive, vibrant and seductive. Pure Atlantic, and excellently presented, the work of designer Marta Lojo, who gives further proof of this team's good taste, found not only inside but on the outside too.
