Viña Vilano Crianza is a single varietal Tempranillo that comes from Pedrosa de Duero, in the province of Burgos and in one of the most favoured areas of the Ribera de Duero. From vines more than 25 years old, the grapes are harvested at the optimum point of ripeness. After a meticulous production process, the wine ages for 14 months in French and American oak barrels before resting for a further three months in bottle.
The end result is a cherry-coloured wine which is remarkable on the nose for its balance and potency, its floral and forest fruit aromas as well as its vanilla and liquorice notes. On the palate it appears rounded and structured, with expressive tannins, flavoursome, spicy and giving a persistent finish.
